An expert lecture titled “Knowing Your Expertise in the Fashion and Designing Industry” was held on 24th December 2024 at 10:30 AM in the NIDC auditorium. The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Jitendra Sharma, Dean of NIDC, and Dr. Akhilesh Upadhyay, Principal of NIDC. The session featured Mr. Brijesh Bhavsar, Head Designer at Chikaza Designing Studio, Patan, as the expert speaker.
Mr. Bhavsar, with over 10 years of industry experience, provided deep insights into the evolving dynamics of the fashion and designing sector. He shared practical advice on honing expertise, understanding industry trends, and building a successful career. His engaging presentation emphasized the importance of creativity, persistence, and technical knowledge in establishing a strong foothold in this competitive field.
The event began with a welcome speech and an introduction by Assistant Professor Ms. Puja Saluja. Dr. Akhilesh Upadhyay felicitated the speaker in appreciation of his contribution. Around 30 enthusiastic students attended, benefiting greatly from Mr. Bhavsar’s expertise and interactive approach.
