Educational Visit 2025 | A Journey into Living Heritage – Kutch
Nootan Institute of Design & Communication organized an educational visit to Kutch from 22–24 December 2025, offering students an immersive experience into the region’s vibrant cultural heritage, traditional crafts, and artistic communities. The visit provided a unique opportunity to explore the rich traditions that make Kutch one of India’s most celebrated centers of craftsmanship and design.
Students interacted with local artisans, observed traditional techniques in textiles, embroidery, weaving, pottery, and handicrafts, and gained valuable insights into the relationship between culture, creativity, and sustainable livelihoods. The visit also exposed students to the architectural, historical, and social aspects of the region, deepening their understanding of India’s living heritage.
This enriching journey inspired students to appreciate indigenous knowledge systems and traditional art forms while connecting their academic learning with real-world cultural and design practices.
